I think you should show your partner how you feel everyday, if you mean it. Not wait untill 14th Feb every year and go out buying tacky items and/or gimicks.

O yeah dolly -very...........just dont buy into cr@ppy stupid angst ridden poems which are meant to tug the heartstrings.I do real life...and that itself can be crud enough without people milking it and rest assured that didnt come from the heart. Know why?
Cos no-one would be so crass as to write such utter tosh if it were true -they would keep it close to their hearts ..if it ever happened...

I think it's the loveliest thing I've read in a long time. I saw further than "Here's some flowers because it's Valentine's Day" bit .... For me, it brought to mind how special my OH is every day of the year, how much we mean to each other, and how I'm gonna feel if he dies before me.

Fair enough ... some see it as sentimental claptrap. Guess it takes all sorts to make a world.

My OH and I don't celebrate Valentine's Day but I sometimes buy him flowers just at random, for no particular occasion. He loves flowers.
