Anyone experienced problems with a Pyrolitic oven?

Would be interested if you have one.. and love it.. or have one and have had problems...

My Smeg oven door exploded on saturday during the ECO Pyrolitic setting!

New glass inner door on its way - but a bit scared to try that again!!

Guess I have to whilst its still in warranty!

I had to look up Pyrolitic Oven Nosha. Sounds too frightening!! I would be scared too!! x

Pyrolitic = Self Cleaning!

Sounds like a dream come true.. but in my case was a NIGHTMARE!!!

still cant open door at moment as shards of broken glass inside and its locked itself...

Hope its bloody clean though after all that!!!

Doesn't Pyro mean explosive!!
We have one and it's brilliant. When the prog is finished all you need is a damp cloth to pick up the dust. I always put the Le Cruset griddle in and that comes up a treat too.

so should I be brave and try it again when the new door is in???

Bloody thing is only 3 months old!

Bit scared to try again but guess I have to! In case it does it out of warranty next time!
