Thought about putting this under technology so excuse me.

Can anybody help - was replying on the Tesco's thread and the font suddenly switched over from the standard to something like a primitive Courier. Don't know what I pressed. Got it back though...however my " button now types an @ and the vica versa happens. Anybody know how to rectify this.

Asus pc with Windows 7 and IE....

You have somehow switched into US keyboard mode. I don't know much about Windows 7 but you need to go into control panel and reset your local settings to United Kingdom.
Change your keyboard layout to English (UK) (it's probably on English (USA))

That wouldn't effect the font though...

Have you changed the size? (use CTRL and + and - or your mouse wheel to change it while on that page)

Either that, or you can change the default font that is displayed if one has not been defined by the page, but try the size first.

(just spotted SB has beaten me to it :))

probably was the control + that I hit - what a plonker.

Normal bad service resumed!!!! It was that Irish joke I put on the Tesco's thread that did it. The IRA getting their revenge - or MI5
Dt, that'll teach you... :-)
