They aren't suede, it says in the item description that the ones in the second link are 100% polyester.

They are both suede. All I can say that I wish I was 20 again when I was 5'9" and size 10 and could wear shorts. We wore very similar clothes back then. I had suede hot pants (and I wore them to work)!

Feeling old and fed up now I have seen theses pictures!!

Are you looking at a different link to me lottie? The shorts in the second of sophie's links are definitely NOT suede, it says in the product info they are 100% polyester and if you use the zoom function on the picture it is obvious they are fabric just by looking at them. I am wondering now if my PC is directing me to a different product to everyone else. lol
