Ok, my daughter has maths homework that she can't work out (cos she was in EuroDisney when they covered it in class) and I don't have a clue. She has to work out the height of a triangle, from part way along the base to the highest angle. She has the lengths of the 3 sides (all different) and the area, but neither of us has a clue what the formula is for working it out. Any maths whizzes out there that could guide us in the right direction?

Thanks

Karen

I did do all the other stuff at school karen, but I can't remember it as it is so long ago. Pythagorus theorem stands out in my mind, but that's about all.

I can only sort of remember Pythorus theorem, but only because of the song in Merry Andrew :) I did do it all when I was at school, but it seems it's not one of the things that stuck with me...
I would have thought that someone studying trigonometry was a wee bit too old for Disney.
