Hi I was just wondering what the chances are that me and my partner will have ginger babys?

I love ginger hair however i think it is doubtful that i will have a ginger baby. I have Blonde hair and my partner has black. His mother and father both have dark hair and my mother and father are blonde and dark. Both our siblings have either dark or blonde hair. On my side of the family there is one person with red hair however she is my nans sister daughter and her father may have carried the gene and on my boyfriends there is his mothers sisters daughter daughter that is a red head and possibly a few distant cousins. What do you think my possibility ofhaving a ginger baby is? My boyfriends favourite hair colour is dark however i like ginger. Any answers would be appreciated. thanks

you could always ask at the ante natal scan what colour the babies hair is ? so you are prepared.

My parents both have brown hair and have one blonde and one ginge child.. so its possible :)
