Christmas Tree trunk trimming

Each year I have to trim down 40 Xmas trees in order that the trunks will fit into a 75mm bracket tube.
This is a long and laborious job using hand axes and angle grinders with a wood blade.

What I need is an electric drill attachment with something with rotating blades within a tube that can be pushed onto the trunk to trim the trunk down evenly to this 75mm. Any ideas please ??

Why don't you use the sort of tool carpenters use to make chair legs - same principle, surely?
They have Christmas trees in Oman?

In fact, do they have any trees? I didn't see any.
Got a 1/2" Router?
Make up a large version of this, bolted together with steel collar to the size you need. Each trunk would take 20-30s -ish to prep up. You will have to take it steady and rotate stock by hand tho, but it should work.

Thanks Dtcrossword fan ( so am I as it happens) Oman being a Muslim country they celebrate Christmas more that we now do in UK, then again they do not have armies of p.c. people over there pandering to the 'grey people' pressure groups.
Albags, the router route seems to be a good option, will see how one can be knocked together to accommodate a range of tree trunks to start wioth
I reckon I could make one in an hour.
A Router I have.
I though about a core drill, but a 75mm one would be external diameter and the internal diameter of a 100mm one might be too big.

But it wouldn't be hard to make a drill from a 75mm internal diameter pipe.
I think you need something where you don't have to rotate the tree, that'd be a daft method (imo)
