An MP has reported 6 of his colleagues for abuse of their expenses. Is he doing his duty as an MP or is he just a dirty rotten sneak?

you would prefer that his colleagues continued to abuse their expenses?
You can't really say without knowing the full facts. If he has given them the chance to sort it out themselves, and they've carried on regardless, then I think he's doing his duty.

He's onl;y doing it because he feels victimised as his expenses drew the attention of PC Plod

Quite right too, what's sauce for the goose, etc.
If he was later to have been found to have kept his mouth shut, everyone would be going on about Parliament being an 'old boys' club' where MPs only looked after each other and not the public interest. So it would seem uncharitable to carp when he's avoided such an accusation.
so you dont mind them robbing taxpayers?

If you're going to rob the taxpayer, then using the money to clear your moat or fix the duck house has a certain style.
They can come and fix the s0dding potholes in my road before they clean their moats.
If the potholes get any bigger, you could use them as a moat!
The potholes where I live are dreadful. You have to weave all over the road to avoid them. If the old bill were behind you they would probably stop you for suspect drink driving. I was in the Dominican Republic in 1996 and we were appalled at the condition of their roads. Ours are now far worse.
