Because as soon as they cut to the guy in that field, there was a shooting star right behind him.

Just cos he had watched all night for anything interesting and the minute his back is turned to report that he hadnt a meteor flashes past.
Scrap 'Div' -it was meant as a fond term -just sometimes...........

so, the studio went to the field he turned to speak to camera and there was a shooting star. it don't make him a div, just unfortunate with timing by the director.

I watched that live and then when Dara O'briain and Prof Cox watched it back they all had a good laugh and so did he but I thought it looked like the ISS
