just wondering- value of an old jacket!

granda has a jacket from 60s im sure, from a cousin in boston ( i LOVE IT)

leather bomber jacket- boston celtics...its green with white arms and the logo on the back- ive always had my eye on it...id never ever ever sell it, but i do wonder if its worth anything? bit of basketball history! had a wee nosey on google cant see a thing! x

It's worth a great deal to you in sentimental value Tinkerbell. If it's your grandad's then I'm sure you would never want to part with a piece of him.

As for intrinsic value, it might be worth something to a collector of sporting memorabilia or period clothing. Whatever it's value in financial terms, I'm sure it won't be enough to let that part of your grandad go.

very true andyvon!!my granda is still very much with us, but the jacket came up in conversation earlier and i remember peeking into wardrobe as a kid and trying it on...hes always said its mine...im not sizing it up but i thought god its been in there for years....i see these baseball style jackets in shops again now...(im 23) ..and i wish i could wear it if it wasnt so garish hahaha..its very cool to me...i can imagine peoples faces if i was walking around in it LOL im not cool enough ha xx

ooh it is!! its always just hung there hes never worn it like i say quite eye catching lol i said the opposite aqbove but i think its actually white leather with emerald green arms, the team logo is the whole size of the back !! haha x
