I don't use them in the middle of sentences, but I often add them at the end if it kind of trails off.......

In my personal assessment, if full stops at the end of a sentence indicates a pause, then surely by definition it would indicate that there is more to follow, but rarely doe this happen.

It may well be, that the post contains so much nonsense, that the poster is totally embarrassed,or at a loss, to finish the sentence.

Quite often it indicates a very clever, but smart@rse reply that not only does the poster become confused, but succeeds in confusing others, a sort of "that concludes the evidence for the prosecution" type of thing.

I think you know exactly what I mean JtH. I had a thread that I started last night removed today, so for now i am keeping my gob shut. (Or should I say zipped)
