We got to see Geri, it wasn't a total loss.
I thought the characters were funny but their lines weren`t
come fly with me was BRILLIANT!
Well.........if you were expecting a series of funny disjointed sketches then it was not for you.
Also it would have helped if one had seen the TV series Airport.

However, I thought it was brilliant, clever, subtle and I look forward to the series.
it was rubbish
smurchops I bloody loved it and was laughing all the way through, specially the Japanese schoolgirls. :P

I couldn't agree more. I think it probably went way over the heads of people who are amused by the depiction of middle-aged ladies vomiting and urinating...
actually i thought middle aged ladies vomitting and urinating was awful and usually enjoy this pair but just wasnt funny
MarkRae....LOL

To me it was a study of human behaviour and I could empathise with all the characters and situations.
"Porridge" was similar as a study of human relationships and very much underestimated.
Couldn't agree with you more squd, it was really clever and I thoroughly enjoyed it. They're not everyone's cup of tea and at times I cringe watching them but this prog was a cracker.
erm *sqad" not "squd"
I knew there was something I meant to watch. I ended up watching the swing concert on BBC2 and forgot all about this. From what I'm reading here, I probably made the best choice.
Porridge very much underestimated??? By whom? Porridge is considered to be one of the greatest British sit-coms of all time, and always features highly in polls...

Mark...you have missed my point, although I may have worded it badly........in my opinion, the dialogue was as good, if not better, than Only Fools and Horses and again in my opinion should have been the N01 British Comedy.
A couple of bits made me giggle. Especially the angry customer, having worked in Retail I know stuff like that happens.

Apart from that it was very , very rubbish. Lets hope the next FIVE episodes are much better.
