One of my presents is 'The Girl Who Kicked Over the Hornet's Nest'. I know that there is a series of three books. Are they best read in sequence, or should I read them as they come. Happy New Merry all round.

They run in order ..
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
The Girl Who Played With Fire
The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets Nest.
best to start with the first one to see how the relationshjp between the girl and the reporter begins tentatively and then becomes a rollercoaster ride I think maybe its because they drink way too much coffee meself
At least he mixed a little business with pleasure.
Talking of business and pleasure .. where's Karen?!
you need to read them in order. The second and third book run on from each other. the first is more self contained, but still contains things it will be useful to know when you read the others

Many thanks for your answers. I will visit the charity shops for the first two books in the series. Now for the Xmas cognac!
Agree with bedknobs read them in order but the first one drags on a bit
More like the last one loses it's bite quite a bit.
yes i cant quite get into the 3rd one. Maybe it is because it was mostly put together by someone else as the author died before the thrid one was published
