Problems using Skype

I have been unable to use Skype today and a friend says she could not get it to work yesterday or today. My son also cannot get into it . So it cannot be a computer fault on three different machines. Does anybody else have this problem and suggestions on fixing it? There appears to be no way of contacting Skype directly by telephone.

Just discovered their whole system has gone down. So at least we know why we cannot get it to work.
