I have noticed lately that when I press the TV button on my Panasonic remote, it tends to 'stick' and I feel that soon it will not 'come out' again. Is there anything I can do to loosen it or will i have to get a new remote ? It isn't sticky from food or anything.

Take it apart and clean it.

Pretty easy with most remotes.

If the buttons do work but just stick then you probably don't need to bother cleaning the board, it will be the rubber membrane that is causing the problem and you can just wash them in soapy water (make sure it is really properly dry before putting it back together)

Thanks chuck.
Mine stopped responding to pressing, I realised after a while that the batteries needed replacing....

I tend to twist the batteries around and it makes them work a bit longer ! But the other keys are OK.
New batteries first before you do anything else. you might be surprised!
The question states the buttons are sticking down, not that they are not doing anything.
