£12.99 from Poundstretcher, I wouldn't have bought one at all if it wasn't for the grandchildren. I hate Christmas!

No idea. Although I do remember going to B&Q one year on Christmas Eve (I was frantically trying to finish off my decorating) and when I got there they were giving away the trees!!!! I was really chuffed with my free tree.

I was going to buy a tree for the kitties to climb and trash - keep them out of trouble. I thought that I would be able to find a cheap one easily.

The cheapest one that I could find was £34.99. So - we haven't got a tree this year.

The tree (it's in a hotel in Abu Dhabi) is only worth £10000 (still expensive!) but It's decorated with 7 million pounds worth of jewels.

I have had the same tree for about six years and I am sure it cost no more than £30. I shall buy a real one next year though, as I have never had a real tree.

I bought a silver coloured wire baobab tree from the street vendors here in Zimbabwe.
Cost 20.00us. It stands about 20inches and is really nice.
