I always make mine from scratch but the Daughter asked me to get her a ready made Jar yesterday. I got the new Jamie Oliver Tomato & Basil one from the Co-Op, it's on offer at £1. I'm just eating it now and it's really lovely. Best from a jar by far

i'll send murphy round! i'm bl00dy frezxzing so i'm going to bed with a hot water bottle when i get in!
no mazie, i don't make meals for the freezer. however, i usually make far too much of any meal just for the two of us so the rest either gets eaten the next day in some form or another, or frozen for future use. at the moment, i have about 8 plastic containers in the freezer with something like chillie or spag bol or curry or a veg thing in. i buy meat in bulk, from costco, and i like to take out whatever meat we'll be having in the morning, not just so it's defrosted but also so i don't get to 5pm and have to think about what we're going to have. i buy almost every veg available on a weekly basis so i generally have in any veg we fancy. as all us cooks know, it's the thinking about what to do that's the problem...so remove the problem and decide in advance, either weekly or daily. it really does help especially if you work.
i worked in a kitchen as a scullery maid (actual title was kitchen assistant but i prefered to call myself a scullery maid) for 2 years and it made me realise how quick it really is to get good food on the table...providing you've though in advance what to have.
I tried the Gordon Ramsay pasta sauce last week, we didn't rate it much....
