Judging by this link it would also appear that it is not only the media who are getting a bit jittery.

On the radio a person phoned and created a hypothetical situation.

The young members of the family asked, how did England become what we have today.
One of the older members replied, well it seemed to have happen all at once, although there were some who warned us, but we called them racists at that time.
We were quite content to carry on watching such old programmes as 'The X Factor' and 'Big Brother'. Some were interested in who would be the Premier Ship Champions, and which mega star was sleeping with who.

I don't condone the killing of ANYONE, it amazes me that you a veteran of an awful war can dismiss the deaths of innocent children so glibly, is it because they're Muslims?

Where the E.D.L fails is it's inability to separate the creed from the deed, when they see a woman in a veil all they see is a faith they dislike.
Underneath that veil is a human being, with thoughts feelings hopes and dreams.
People like the Orange Lodge, the E.D.L, whatever Islamia groups need to be marginilised, so that the rest of us can talk reasonably and try to get along.
Shouting slogans, banning things causes reactions, it makes people defensive, which isn't good is it.
On the tele today it said that the leader of the E.D.L had a conviction for assaulting a police officer, none of us can condone that.
