When I point my right foot I get a tingling/ pins and needles sensation in my index toe. I have a lot of joint and back problems. When I point my toe I also get cramp in my calf. Any thoughts?

stop pointing your toes
When I point my toes on my right foot in bed I get cramp in the arch of that foot. It`s probably just "one of those things" :-)
touch of sciatica?

If you're under 40 go see your GP. If you're over 40.......get used to it.
Count summed it up very nicely
Sounds like circulation problems, try doing some of the exercises that are recommended for use on long haul flights, you need to do them on a regular basis to have any effect. I have to do them several times a day as I am pretty immobile due to disability. I used to get cramp a lot in my calf muscles but it seems to have stopped since starting these exercises.
