I sometimes wonder how the course of history may have changed (if any) had Al Gore had won the American election instead of GHB

Amazing! Just thinking that myself. If George ( what day is it? ) Bush hadn't "won" the 2000 election would we be an a collision course with war? Who knows, but I very much doubt it! 9/11 would still have happened of course, but the response would have been so much different - maybe not better but different!
911 may not have happened too?

Wot a plonker! Question should've read "GWB". Sorry.
funny how a slip sometimes seems right though...what with those letters being so close to GBH it just seems correct somehow......and don't forget that in the US a Bush is just another word for a c@nt!

You should read a book called 'Stupid White Men' by Michael Moore (of TV Nation, Bowling For Columbine etc) that goes into great detail about how George 'Dubya' Bush stole the election.... Very enlightening and perhaps a little scary!
the pentagon had plans on the table for the invasion of afghanistan and iraq way before 9/11. GWBs sabre-rattling towards n korea, and his continued aquiescence in the palestianian occupation have served to make the US and its allies more of a target, regardless of the afghan/iraq wars
Who cares, Saddam deserves a kicking. Free the Iraq people. Ask yourself one question. A murderer kills your family and tries to kill you, during the struggle a gun falls at your feet, do you A) Shoot the ?*$** B) Run away C) Try and negotiate ????? Think about it
