Thats right...ummmm, and i got what i put in my last post
You would enter the number as: 141***********
the stars would obviously be the digits of the number you need to dial.
What network are you on Gina?
Bob906 when you called 1471 and got the number that rang you, you have to make a note of the number, hang up and then start from scratch. i.e. 141, then the number that called you, this will withold your number.
From a mobile, go to SETTINGS - press select; scroll down to CALL SETTINGS - press select; scroll down to SEND MY CALLER ID - press select; use your up and down button to highlight either YES or NO - you need to highlight NO - press select. You can press your red hang up button. All further calls will not show your ID.
Obviously, reverse the instructions to start showing your ID again on future calls.
yes..like 14107779783167.

If your phone refuses withheld numbers you wont receive hospital, police, emergency service phone calls.
Not true Jaydah. Hospital phoned us the other day and their number came up.
who is on about refusing numbers its not sending them that the post is about
although on the subject my landline doesnt accept withheld numbers but does accept out of area or number not available numbers, which i assume is emergency and suchlike
