I'm a huge fan of CSI and have noticed when they have an unidentified corpse they always name it John Doe. Why is this, can anyone enlighten me?

it's the traditional term in the USA for an unnamed person in legal proceedings etc (Jane if female). See wikipedia - which says Γιώργος Τάδε is the Greek version, how about that.

DOA - dead on arrival - john for man, jane for female.  Missed it last night - too tired and not feeling good.  Was it good and who killed the speed dater?

The girl who they questioned in the beginning who admitted to pouring the acetone on the car. It was her (ex) boyfriend who did it. The guy who was carrying boxes from the house to his boot when they came to question the girl.

Another question. Why would you use acetone in a hair dressers? I understand amonia and peroxide but what's acetone used for?

Happy Face. Wasn't it her? She swapped the car spanner with the boyfriend to try and frame him

was it just a hairdresser's shop or was it a beauty salon? Acrtone is used to remove nail polish and to soak off false nails.
And remember Kevin Spacey's character was called John Doe in Se7en.
