Debenhams promotional sale up to 25% off has been on for the last few days, bit of a con! last week jewellery was half price today the half price poster was 20% off! Why don't they just take 25% of everthing then we know were we stand!

Yes its a con! We had a leaflet through our door for half price Diesel Fuel For Life aftershave for £17.75 - I went into our local Debenhams and all they had were bottle for £40+ and its not even shown on their website even if you type the product code it. I was hoping to buy a couple of bottle for xmas pressies!!

having worked there for many years, no it;s not a con, it's how retail is, the advertising gets you into the store with an expectation of a 25% saving across the store during the event, any short term promotion offered before or after the spectacular will have been available to those that chose to take them up,
