Trying to remember a ad from the early eighties.
Main character "Billy" was a schoolboy.
I think he'd be kept behind by his teacher, he finished his work & the teacher said the line that sticks in my head:
"There you go billy"
or
"here you go Billy"
or maybe
"on you go Billy"
he ran off, into the sunshine, back to his mum. There he got the product (maybe a welcome home drink???)
The advert was for BT. 'Billy' is in America getting his homework checked by his teacher. He is rushing to get home to call his Grandparents in England. Teacher finished checking and says "There you go Billy" before he rushed out and home. I think the advert was to promote long distance calling and how cheap it was.
