Further to my previous question a few minutes ago, would it be worthwhile saving money and buying IAMs instead of Hills for my cat, or is Hills a better product ?

Vet says he isn't overweight, just a big cat, but I have to watch what he eats. He thinks he's a labrador ..
No smurf that is not my cat unfortunately - just some random inetrnet laughing kitten. Lucy is black with a tiny white bib.
Smurf - 2 years ago the vet said my cat No.1Son was a big cat - last year the next vet said he was fat (! - he was insulted), this time, the locum vet started off thinking he was overweight, then when he handled him and felt how big his ribcage is, she came back with "no, he's a big cat!" Just under 6kg ... but doesn't eat a huge amount IMO. All three of mine are in the 5.5-6kg range, you know if you've been sat on.
