2 people down my street have their lights up all year round. they are turned off but they just dont take them down.

We have 2 people round here who never take them down. Great big Santa Claus heads hanging off the trees.

There is always a story in the papers at this time of year about some misunderstood family who have way too many Christmas decorations and lights on display and some neighbour complaining.

Even if the OTT display 'is' collecting money for charity it would drive me nuts living next door to a mini version of the Blackpool illuminations.
