What makes my duvet all clump together at one end, within the covers, when it has a certain cover on?

It's rather annoying and quite odd, it always happens with a certain cover, nomatter what duvet is put inside it . . .

There's only two that fit my thicker winter duvet, and this is one of them so I have to have it on occaisionally . . .
Are you for real??
No, he/she isn't.
makes you wonder squarebear :)
Even stranger is my boyfriend's duvet which fits the covers perfectly when they are first put on but then seems to shift to one side so that one side has about 6 inches of empty cover but the other side is just normal!
I had duvets which did that as well and so did my kids -think they rub off the cover material.Bought duvets which are all sewn up into compartments so the filling doesnt clump Used to drive me nuts trying to shake them out.
BTW Molly -do you ever wonder if SB and SS are for real -or do you not care about users so long as they arent rude to you?
sophie -that still happens to me even though the duvet and cover should fit perfectly.Ive seen me making the bed and patting down an emply bit cos I cant be bothered sometimes making it fit !!!!
I really don't understand as can shake it out to make it fit and by the morning it is back to having a huge empty bit! Usually it's on his side of the bed though so not overly concerned lol!

Sophie, that's exactly what's happening except horizontally not vertically . . . . but it's really annoying and only that one duvet cover.
Put some strong clothes pegs on the top corners
