Does sea trout taste as good as the much more expensive wild salmon?

Sea trout is much cheaper than wild salmon, for starters.
It's a trout that migrates to the sea, is smaller but chunkier than salmon, has a squarer tail, pink flesh and tastes, I think, more delicate.
You can buy a whole one from the fishmonger for about �18 and it will feed at least six.
It's usally boiled in cold water to begin with in a fish kettle. Use like salmon: with a hollandaise sauce or served cold at a buffet.
