Just heard the BBC correspondent say that the engineers were 'doing a bit of last minute chiselling' - That doesn't sound good!
Me too I think. I would have loved to have witnessed history being made. Hopefully it will all go well. I think it will.

oh its just a test run... sorry!
4 of them are up now. Should be interesting for the guy who has his wife AND mistress waiting for his turn!
Does he know that they are both there waiting for him? Maybe he won't come out?
Today will be a jubilant celebratory one full of joy and relief.
It'll be the next few weeks & months when the real toll on them will start to tell...
I was at work, and watched it live when the first one was brought up. Quite emotional really, but when you think about it at least their families knew they were alive, whereas the poor buggers killed in Afghanistan haven't got that luxury.
