I've made fresh stock with a carcass etc, how long reasonably will it be okay in the fridge? I forgot to freeze it on the day!!

In the fridge, at least a week, but you can still freeze it.
Sorry stewey i wouldnt keep it in the fridge for a week

I usually go by whatever date was on the chicken that I used to make the stock.

I agree with poodicat - a week seems a bit too long for me too. If you don't plan to use it then I would bung it in the freezer as stewey says.

I would say 3 days.
The book says two days.
