Another celeb marriage hits the rocks

And they claim they've been separated for some time, how sad.

It is sad - more so because of their profiles, which will mean that this painful process must be lived out in the glare of publicity.

It's not like a husband walking out and leaving the wife and kids with no money. That's sad...

its sad because they have a young child,

I'm sure that child will cope. Like many of us did...

It's true though. It happens all the time. Parents split up...the kids usually cope better than the parents.

hard to say when you dont know the full picture some kids cope better than others yes,
but other kids take splits very badly indeed and carry their turmoil into adulthood

I don't know any adult that is still traumatised by their parents split. No it's not nice when it happens...but you get over it. Sometimes, in my case anyway, it was the best thing that happened. Mum wasn't unhappy anymore and we got to see more of Dad than we did when they were together.

i think it affects things like looking for security in a relasionship maybe some people find it hard to trust people.

People don't suddenly decide to split. It's usually a slow process of arguments and getting on each other nerves. Not a great atmosphere to bring up a child in.

I think people give up too easily on their marriages.

One argument and they are getting divorced!!

I don't know....Most of the people I know have managed to stay married.
