If you've got Microsoft Word on your PC you've probably got exactly what you want already. Microsoft Word is supplied with cv templates (but they're hidden away under the American name of 'resumes'). There's also a 'resume wizard' which can do the job for you.
Alternatively, Pyramid Recruitment Services (which is an employment agency based in Colchester) provide some hints here about preparing a cv:

If you click on 'this format' at the bottom of the page you can download a specimen cv (which will open in Word or Open Office) which you can modify to your own requirements.
