bit of a stop off point for shipping/sailing hence woman off ill repute and people hassling you to buy things.

Not sure if it has a big tourist trade in terms of holidays. A mate of mine shored there whilst sailing from Spain to USA. I vaguely remembering him describing it as a bit edgy and not very nice.
