I don't think he should be driving with 12 points on his licence!
he would probably get is license taken off him, and what is the 12 points??

When did he get his first points?

the mags will decide whether to take the license away or not, it isn;t automatic. if he drives for work he may be able to convince them not to. and as HC has just pointed out when did he get the other points?

Thanks for the link hc 4361,first points was all clear 3 years ago,all 12 points within those 3 years
You can be at 12 but not over.
Greater than 11 points is supposed to result in a 6 month disqualification under the totting up procedure, however the judicial system opens itself to ridicule when a driver can amass 54 points before finally being banned.
