Mum still hasn't given me access to the account which I now should have access to.

When we went into the bank the person said to get the most out of it put it in this certain kind of account, for which we got a form, but mum still hasn't sorted it.

Wha should I do? She doesn't seem to be in any hurry to give me my money . . . .

Remind her. Ask the bank to write her a reminder letter. Get another form.
Sure it's your money?
Open a new account for all future monies that you get while waiting for your mother to sort it out?
I'd offer some advice, but you're always rude to me.

best of luck.

Boxtops I keep asking her too but she CBA. I've never thought of that, do you think they would?

Sumo, It's in my name which I got when i was a baby, but because of what kind of account it is, only my mum has access to it, even though legally, she should hand it over to me now.

Sherrard, I opened an account a couple of years ago which all money since then has gone into.

Déjà vu, anyone?
Yup...too late to phone social services now...!!

At 17 can't the bank sort this out without your Mum?

Hold on....you need ID...you haven't got any have you? Your Mum has it somewhere safe :-)

I thought it was 16 unless otherwise stated...
My son who is 19 has an account which I can have control over until he's 25, so I haven't signed it over to him yet.

We asked at the bank and I could of had it at 16, but it hasn't been sorted yet.

At the risk of repeating myself...

I can't helen, she needs to do it.
Maybe you could have had it at 16. My son could have had his money when he turned 18, but I decided not to hand control over to him yet. Maybe I will when he's 21, maybe I'll wait until he's 25. Just because you're 17 doesn't mean you HAVE to have the money. Maybe your Mother is waiting until you're a little older as from your posts you do seem rather immature. And I'm sure if you went to the bank they would give you a form. It doesn't matter who they give the forms to, just who fills them in and signs them.
Molly with all due respect why don't you use your efforts to pressure her about it rather than posting about it on AB, We can't do the forms for you.
