Malware warning started 15 Sept 2010

I use Firefox, is there any way I can get past the warning for AB without having to keep clicking "ignore warning" and without turning off all warnings, thanks.

doesn't look like it. It seems to be only Firefox now so you could try IE in the meantime. I'd like to think they're still working on this rather than just leaving FF users out in the cold. I guess we're just stuck with extra clicking until then.

Go to > tools > options .>uncheck Block reported attack sites, and that will stop it popping up.

it will also give free rein to real attack sites, neti, which could be risky.

Problem still hasn't been fixed, I see.

Hello,

I have posted about this in a number of different threads, but I have confirmed that the problem is resolved, however, people using Firefox will still receive the warning.

I assure you that I am working on this right now, but it may take a couple of days until we have Firefox browsing "fixed".

For now, those that use Firefox can either click "ignore this warning" or use a different browser like Internet Explorer or Google Chrome.

If you notice anyone else posting saying they have this problem in Firefox, please refer them to this thread or explain the issues that we are currently experiencing.

Chrome would be fine if it didn't also come up with the warning.

good, keep the techies' noses to the grindstone. What is odd is that the problem didn't seem to affect Firefox until after the techies started fixing it...

Listen Sci_Fi - I've switched mine back on, but it's a bl**dy nuisance. Why can't they fix it quicker than a couple of days!

How can I switch to IE without losing any settings or messing up my bit torrent etc.

I'm sure the techies are working frantically to fix the problem, Use IE for Answer bank and FireFox for everything else. simultaneously if you like.

Open up IE and type in www.answerbank.co.uk
Use Firefox for your other interent sites.
