on Windows Media Player (on my PC) where can I find out how many gigabites of music I have stored? Is there a figure somewhere I can look at?

Presumably your music is stored in the "my music" or "music" folder which is located in the documents folder?

if so, open the documents folder and right click on the music folder and click properties.
