Hello all,

When I try to download music clips or video trailers from the interent, windows media player loads up as usual. It is my default media player, however, it does not play the content. A load bar at the bottom left of the screen says locating media, but a message always comes up saying: "windows media player cannot connect to the server. The server name might not be correct, or the server might not be available, or your proxy settings migth not be correct." I went on 'help' and checked my proxy settings. Looking for some help to solve my problem. I wouldnt mind changing my default player, so if someone could tell me how to do that I would also appreciate it.

Thanks in advance

eh?

Where are you downloading the music to?

If you open up media player - go to - TOOLS - OPTIONS - RIP MUSIC it should say something like

rip music to this location - C://My Documents/My Music

If it says something else it might help you find your downloads.
