Why are we celebrating the Battle of Britain in a seemingly exaggerated way this year?
prev I got a lovely Pandora charm for my bracelet off Bill this morning..
  
next I might keep some of these little sayings to use in here..lol

"celebration' to 'commemorate'."

I agree, commemorate is more suitable.

It's not a celebration as such...it's remembering those brave few who, as young people (some in their late teens), gave their lives so we remain free to this day.

That is no exaggeration.

I was not talking about the "bravery" of the men but the "celebration" as compared to other years.
