Man turns into a robot!

I have only the vaguest recollection of a movie (possibly a TV series episode) where a guy slowly changes into a robot.

Probably 80's American production, and it's nothing to do with The Borg on Star Trek.

That's all I remember

Doesn't that happen in one of the Superman films? I'm sure someone turns into a robot in one of those.

Yeah smeg_head In Superman 3 the woman turns into some sort of robot.As for the question being asked I'm pretty sure there is a Twilight Zone episode about a guy that turns into a robot.

there is an x files episode where a guy has metal under his skin.yhink it was something to do with a freak accident in the workplace or summat.dont know what series it was tho.

I remember the Superman film and it's not that one (the process of him turning into a robot was a much slower one than that). It had crossed my mind that it might be a Twilight Zone episode but I'm sure it seemed more like a movie. It's not an X-file.

 

A friend of mine also vaguely remembered it, so I'm not mad!
