Saw this live this morning. Horrific crash. This is the second weekend that someone has died at a Moto GP event. Alex De Angelis walked away and it sounds like Scott Redding is going to be OK as well.

Thoughts go out to Shoya-san's family and the team.
Crashes of that nature really bring home just how fragile a riders life really is.

So many crashes could be far worse.
That was tragic, there was another one as well. Also two died in the TT races.
There was a 13 year old died in one of the support races at Indianapolis. Sounds like a similar sort of incident to the one that claimed Tomizawa.
its surprizing there isn´t more deaths in this sport.
but thats the nature of the sport, the riders know what they are letting themselves in for.
