I have just seen the first advert with Father Christmas in it for studio cards, telling us that Christmas is around the corner. I don't need this!!!

Yes you do or you won't remember to get it all sorted early this year.
I bought my first bag of stilton and port crisps the other day (tasted rather nice)
Card shops have had Christmas Cards for sale since beginning of August, still getting over last Christmas!
Credit card overspend again ?
I'm doing all my xmas shopping on line this year, so am starting early, got half of it & tomorrow is going to be a day of on line shopping. Just bought my rwo grandaughters a beautiful coat each from Next, Spent a fortune on M&S site. If they're not happy with 'em they can take them back to their local store. (I like that idea) it takes the onus off of me. Doing books and CDs tomorrow,

jem do the items not have to be returned if necessary by a certain date or do they extend that for Christmas?

Barb
They are selling chocolate Advent calendars in Morrisons - my kids were really confused that they were on sale now (even little kids know it's wrong).
Just as a warning I was given a £40 dress from M&S for Xmas that was bought in September. I hated it and although I was given the recepit M&S would not refund or exchange for the value because the time limit (90 days for M&S??) had run out. All they gave me was the current sale price of £9.
Bang
The other day I was visiting mum and dad and their old gas barbecue was on its last legs. So ... I've bought them a new one using Tesco Double Clubcard points and it arrived today in time for Christmas.

I don't normally shop this early but the offer's on now and I thought it might be quite difficult to find barbecues in December ...
They do extend the date Barb, with M&S though they always recognise their own goods, they wont give money back but they give vouchers anytime. I think that goes for most 'big' co's too. But since you've asked I'm going to do some checking tomorrow.

Worth checking jem....have you seen Prudie's answer above
Studio Cards 1st ad for xmas was on tv in July. Had my 1st Xmas crap in the post in JUNE. Blooming December is early enough.
