The delightful darkness of the clocks when the clocks go forwards, the grey (more so) clouds, sleet, freezing cold winds, snow, trick or treaters beating on doors with demands of sweets (I'd turn the bell and the lights off frankly) and the never ending headache that is christmas.
I hate autumn/winter... I adore summer and hate when it ends.
We`ve got lots of lovely trees that go gorgeous colours here so autumn is quite nice and I love the run up to christmas so that`s what I`m doing. I`m off to Barbados next week which helps though!
'dreadful what old people get up to these days'?????????????? who're you calling old??? i'll have you know our caravan is known as our 'caravan of lurrrrrrv' for a very good reason ;)
Cosy evenings watching a film tv with hot chocolate with marshmallows
Walking by the sea with the wind whipping the waves until they smash against the sea wall

Clear frosty skies
Magic
It has all been said really, the leaves of russet and crimson fluttering down from the trees and floating on the water outside my window, the robin that comes to perch on my gate.
A blanket over my knees as I sip steaming soup from a cup.
Fairy lights, tinsel and the smiling faces of the children at Christmas time.
I am waiting for mid-November when the nights have come in a bit, and there has been light relentless rain all afternoon; when the street-lamps reflect on the tarmac in that fuzzy and Christmassy way.
I always like that, every year it is wonderful.
Also, in case you've forgotten, AB was relaunched a year ago tomorrow. Maybe we should have cake?
Im looking forward....................full stop :)
I have a fab weekend lined up soon up in the North East of Scotland -nice walks and lovely harbours.
