I cannot now get sky sports news on freeview, it just tells me to rescan which i have done without any luck. Is that it or can i find it somewhere else or will i have to purchase another tv package. thanks in advance for any help.

I saw an ad on Sky the other day saying Sky Sports News would no longer be available on freeview from 23rd. So yeah, i think youd probably have to get Sky.

if you're a regular viewer the clip saying sky sports news is no longer available from 23rd has been showing about the past 3 weeks. A new sports programme has started on BBC1 but only on Saturday to cover the footie x

it must've only happened today because i was watching sky sports news on saturday and sunday without a problem. other than getting sky is there anything similar to freeview that i can get, thanks.

yes 'from the 23rd' today. No daily sports programme on freeview, you would have to get sky. Only programme on BBC1 saturday

thankyou, its a bit of a bummer cause i did enjoy my saturday afternoons at home, headphones on listening to my team, southampton, play and also keeping up with all the latest scores, shame, thats my saturday treat ruined!!

I've said it 3 times, am glad my posts arent invisible to you jb. I say the 23rd they say it went off today, erm yes. I say twice there is one on a saturday and they say 'oh bummer I cant watch it on Saturday' lol
