Mrs Flop was convicted of an SP50 offence in January, received 5 points and fined £550 after being caught by a camera speeding on a motorway.

This is the only change in circumstances since my insurance renewal last August.

I opened my renewal notice with some trepidation and was delighted to see that my premium has gone from £420.00 to £350.00 - a reduction of 17%!

They haven't 'missed' her conviction as it is shown on the renewal notice.

Are single camera convictions being ignored?

I, too, got an SP30 last year and it didn't affect my insurance. As I understand it they accept a couple of speeding tickets as being acceptable without affecting your premium.
