Selling on ebay- selling to Malaysia

I've put some items up for sale on ebay and have specified that they are for sale to UK addresses only with payment via paypal.
I've had a few bids from the UK but I've also had 8 emails via ebay from overseas buyers who claim to be really interested and asking how much I'll charge for postage to Malaysia/Thailand/Singapore.
Sounds odd to me that so many people in these countries would want my family's old clothes!
I am being overly suspicious or is there some sort of scam being lined up here.
Thanks.

PS - if they have already made bids, it would have been sensble for them to have asked you first how much P&P is likely to be. You might want to calculate that then email the bidder through the eBay system - when they realise how much the postage is, they might want to withdraw the bid (which I would accept without question!).
I have'nt said Paypal is'nt safe and secure. I've only had 300 + dealings with eBay.
But on 4 occasions Paypal have helped themselves, by just taking the cash straight from my account. It has on each occasion been returned , but only after much unwanted stress.
Ever since I've had this happened, I've always sent parcels by recorded delivery.
I've propably been missing out, as ever since I have had parcels 'go missing' I have just sold in the UK only.
Sorry factor for jumping in but I did't realise that International signed for held any water... so it seems if your parcel goes missing in Bangkok... in theory... The Post Office will be your first port of call... interesting.

It seems a bit strange that you have interest from 3 cities within a relatively small area of the world. Even if you were selling stuff that had designer labels I would be suspicious as there is such a huge counterfeit industry in those places so they wouldn`t need your clothes.
A colleague of mine was selling a mobile phone on Ebay. Someone from Lagos wanted it. He was going to pay through Paypal. He asked when he could expect it in the post, and my colleague was travelling to Lagos with work so offered to take it to him in person. The buyer disappeared quicker than you can say "rat up a drainpipe". I wouldn`t bother if I was you
