These are the pics I promised, we named her Caoimhe Pronounced (Keeva) after receiving many great suggestions from Abers. We eventually chose the name that was suggested by Looobylooo, many thanks loobylooo.

Caoimhe has settled in really well, we brought her back from Scotland to Devon on Sunday after spending a nice couple of days with Caoimhe's breeder. She is currently terrorising my other two wolfhounds who appear to be terrified of her, bless them both, they only weigh 10 stone each compared to her 7.8kgs at 8 weeks of age lol

Again thanks to all who helped to name this very special little pup :-)

I Like the wheaten colour Ratters. As I said my Brother has always had Great Danes..His first, was called Jenna....and she was wheaten(thank you for that description) His last was a silver or Grey, Called Mazie, she was so beautiful as a pup, metallic almost with the most amazing blue eyes. She took great pleasure in tripping you over and then licking you to death
She really is gorgeous. At least you bought her from a civilised country.

An Irish Wolfhound, Scottish by birth and now living in England - what about Wales?
Congratulations Ratter and Carakeel - she is absolutely gorgeous. Welcome to Keeva (I can't spell her proper name, but the pronounciation is beautiful). I wish you all the best of luck.
Beautiful dog and love that she's named after a BB contestant.

Well Wolf, if you look out of our upstairs window, you can just about see the welsh coast, will that do?

Cute toni, I can assure she was not named after anybody any TV programme!!

Caoimhe
(pronounced Keeva) is an Irish Gaelic given name derived from the Gaelic caomh, meaning beautiful, gentle or precious. It is from the same root as the Irish name Kevin, now the name Kevin is very significant for us as Carrakeels (My good lady and fiance) Son was named Kevin, he unfortunately died 3 days before his 21st birthday of a brain tumor, Kevins Irish Wolfhound at the time had to be given away as Kevin was terminally ill and in hospital and Carakeel was up and down to London every other day to see him. So Kevin = Caoimhe is very significant.
Lovely sentiment and hope she brings you much Joy. The both of you xxx
Petal, I think the pup is probably the boss here at the moment, lol. She is training us well! She has ratter rolling around on the floor doing tricks already! :o)
