such as muslim, instead of muslin, scrimp instead of scrim, scram instead of scran, voluMptuous instead of voluptuous,

even heard read someone say kathryn obvious instead of captain obvious...!

i have heard loads of others i cant recall just now...

some will even argue with you about it too...!

any one got any good ones??

Prawn as opposed to Pawn.
I love that one - I'm just a prawn in the game.
My gran went to M&S and said she wanted a griddle and she meant girdle. One of my colleagues was talking to another rather ladylike colleague who said her new man was a great cook but the aforementioned colleague was asking her loads of details about size because she thought she said he had a great cock!
