I think Ben Cartwright has moved in next door but one, he's built a huge wooden gazebo out of 8ft logs and put a coral round his wheelie bins. I'm sure he needs planning permission, but it goes with his sun house and arbour, just needs a well building and he'd have the full kit , the gazebo casts a long shadow , not as long as the full size flag pole mind.
it is amazine how big a shed or outhouse you can build without needing planning permission - my neighbours have the equivalent of a garden room right across the bottom of their garden.
Ho Chi Minh worked as a pastry chef in the Haymarket in London, so he'd be a useful neighbour for Dot. Studied under Escoffier (allegedly). She could borrow cups of sugar from him.
