Im trying to play a video file in Media PLayer 9, and there is no sound. It trys to d/l a relevant codec, but cant find it. This is what it says for the help: 'The audio codec identified by the format tag 31 is required to play this file. To determine if this codec is available to download from the Web, click Web Help.' Anyone know where to get this 'codec 31', or how to make the sound work. I have the Nimo codec, but it doesnt make any difference!!

I don't know whether this is your answer but on the windows update site there is a Media Player 9 codec bundle. Perhaps you could try downloading this.
